How do I log in to my customer account?

Log in here with the email address you used when placing your order. You will then receive a verification code in your mailbox that you can use to log into your customer account.

I'm having second thoughts about my choice, what can I do?

Return Policy

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation, you have 14 days to return the item to us.

How do I return an item?

For your convenience, we use a simplified return procedure through our regular shipping partner, PostNL. The costs for the return shipment are at your own expense and will be deducted from your refund.

  • Step 1: Register your return via your customer account and pack the item(s) in their original packaging.
  • Step 2: We will send you a digital return label by email. This label is valid for 5 business days and can be scanned and printed from your phone at a manned PostNL location. You can, of course, also print this label yourself and drop off the package at a manned PostNL location. You do not need to pay anything at the drop-off point, unless you choose insured return.
  • Step 3: Cover the old shipping label so that your address is no longer visible, drop off your package, and keep your proof of shipment.

Please note: Packages cannot be returned via self-scan drop-off points, parcel lockers, and other unmanned service locations. You are responsible for ensuring that we receive your returned package in good condition.

How much are the return costs?

Processing a return involves more than just shipping costs. Behind the scenes, a return shipment entails significant costs and impact:

  • Each returned item is manually inspected for fabric and filling integrity to ensure our continued quality.
  • To guarantee hygiene and a luxurious experience, tissue paper, seals, and often the shipping boxes must be replaced.
  • The administrative processing of the shipment and the CO2 emissions from extra transport burden our workshop and the environment.

In total, processing a return shipment costs an average of fifteen to twenty euros. By requesting a contribution of €7.95, we share these costs and hope to reduce unnecessary transport movements together with you. This way, we keep our brand sustainable and our craftsmanship affordable.

What should I pay attention to when returning an item?

We can only accept returns under the following conditions:

  1. You have registered your return request via your customer account.
  2. The item is in its original, undamaged condition and free from signs of use (such as stains, odors, or pet hair).
  3. If applicable, the original Huiskees seal (hangtag) has not been broken or removed. If this seal has been broken, the item is no longer in its original condition and we cannot (fully) process the return.
  4. The item must be returned in its original packaging, where possible, to prevent damage during transport.
  5. The item must be returned undamaged and complete.
  6. The item has not been used, and all tags and (care) labels are attached to the item. Packaging materials such as a wrapper band or ribbon should also be included with your return. Please note that damage or signs of use may lead to refusal of the return, or a reduction in value may be applied. You are solely responsible for this.
How will I be refunded for my return?

As soon as we have received and checked your return in good order, we will refund the full purchase price within 10 working days via the original payment method, minus the return costs (€ 7.95).

Please note: any discounts you received may be offset. For example, in the case of 'buy 2 and receive 10% off' promotions.

Can I return one pillow from a set?

Have you purchased a set of multiple pillows and only wish to keep one or a portion of the items? That is, of course, possible. You can return individual pillows from a set according to our standard return procedure: indicate in your customer account which item from the set you wish to return.

If a bundle discount was applied when purchasing the set, this discount will be forfeited if the remaining items no longer meet the conditions of the original promotion. In that case, the refund amount will be adjusted to the individual selling price of the retained items.

Which items can I not return?

Please note that items specifically made to your request in non-standard sizes or with specific fabric/finish combinations are legally exempt from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned.

Can I return my return insured?

You are responsible for ensuring that we receive your return package in good condition, which is why we recommend sending the item back insured. You can have your return shipment insured at the drop-off point, so you run less risk if the item is unexpectedly lost or damaged in transit. Keep the proof of shipment safe.

Business Purchases

Please note that the legal right of withdrawal only applies to consumer purchases. For business orders (B2B), a different regulation applies: returns are only accepted after written approval and in the event of demonstrable defects. Huiskees reserves the right to charge administration costs for business returns.
